Antique Regimental German Beer Stein Wpicture InsideIn this auctionan authentic 1898~1900's german regimental beer stein. It is hand painted and represents a battle scene. There is some text in german taht i cannot translate. The names of the soldiers and officers are listed on the back. Stein measrues 11 to the top of the lid x 4 1/2 diameter. Pewter lid represents a soldier sitting with a rifle on his lap and a beer stein no his right hand. Behind him there is a crowned lion. Inside the stein is a picture of a hunter bringing home a pheasant and 2 women sitting. Please click on the pictures to enalrge them and see more details.
