Good luck. And happy bidding! David. This is a wonderful antique mettlahc pug stein, 1 litre size, with a colored transfer depicting a tavern scene. Men/soldiers drinking and eating. hTe illustration is signed schlett. The stein measures 9 1/2 tall to hte top of the thumbpiece on the lid, and 4 in diameter at the bottom. The underside is marked 1110 geschutzt and incised what looks to be 1526. There aer no chips or cracks, no damage. Tehre is a flaw where the handle meets the body of the stein, but this was in the making and the glaze goes over it. The lid depicts a young lady with a keg adn stein. No damage to the pewter.
